                 Making Pecan Pie

In the mood for making some pies today. Thought I would try pecan pie. Simple to put together, with delicious results. The recipe was for one (9-inch) deep dish, I decided to make two regular pies. I did add about 1/2 cup extra pecan, just for good measure. I also covered the edges of the pie crust with foil to prevent over browning. They turned out great.
